Two dead, two missing after Iran missile strike in Haifa, Israel
Two individuals have lost their lives, and search efforts are ongoing for two others after an Iranian missile hit a residential building in Haifa, according to a report from the Times of Israel on Monday. Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy shared this update with reporters at the site. He stated, “We are concentrating all our efforts on locating the four family members believed to be inside, using every resource we have.” Levy also mentioned that the missile's warhead might not have detonated on impact, prompting the evacuation of several nearby buildings to ensure safety in case of an explosion. The country's emergency service, Magen David Adom, reported on Monday (local time) that multiple people sustained injuries from the missile strike in Haifa. In related news, Al Jazeera Breaking indicated that over ten locations in Haifa were targeted during this latest series of Iranian attacks. Additionally, damage occurred in central Israel due to what appeared to be a cluster munition impact in Haifa, as reported by the Times of Israel, which cited rescue services. It was noted that one suspected bomb caused a car fire, while another incident overturned a vehicle, as shown in footage. According to MDA, after the missile attack on northern Israel, paramedics are treating and transporting four patients with minor injuries and signs of smoke inhalation to Rambam Hospital. Amid rising tensions in the area, the Israeli Defence Forces announced on Monday that they had completed a series of strikes aimed at the infrastructure of the Iranian regime in Tehran.
