Landslide Early Warnings issued to the districts of Badulla and Monaragala

The Building Research Organisation's Landslide Early Warning Center has issued warnings for landslides in the Badulla and Monaragala districts. These warnings are in effect until 9:30 PM today, May 10, 2026. Level I (Yellow) landslide alerts have been sent to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions and nearby areas of Passara in the Badulla district, as well as Badalkumbura and Wellawaya in Monaragala district.
