Netanyahu claims Israel has destroyed Iran s largest petrochemical plant

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the country has destroyed Iran's largest petrochemical facility. He mentioned in a post on his X account, "We are systematically dismantling the IRGC’s (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) money machine." Additionally, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that they targeted Iran's two biggest petrochemical plants, making over 85% of its petrochemical exports unusable. The IDF also indicated that a location in Asaluyeh was used to produce "essential components for the Iranian regime’s missile industry." Furthermore, President Donald Trump mentioned in a briefing that he had a conversation with Netanyahu on Sunday.
