Israeli military says it has hit another petrochemical complex in Iran
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that it targeted a third petrochemical facility in Iran. This strike took place on Monday at a plant located in Shiraz, in the southwestern part of the country. The IDF stated that this facility produced nitric acid, which is used in making ballistic missiles. This latest attack follows two earlier strikes on the same day at other petrochemical sites. These included the South Pars petrochemical plant in Asaluyeh, located in southern Iran, and the Marvdasht Petrochemical Complex in Fars province.
