Over 4,600 litres of hoarded diesel seized in Kalmunai

Kalmunai Headquarters Police have confiscated 4,620 litres of diesel during a raid on Madhavan Road in Kalmunai today (06). The fuel was found in 22 barrels and was allegedly hoarded by a local businessman, according to police reports. This action followed a tip-off from the Police Intelligence Unit. The seized diesel is valued at over Rs. 1.75 million. The suspect is set to appear in front of the Kalmunai Magistrate’s Court. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
