Laugfs gas shipment arrives at Hambantota

A ship carrying 7,000 metric tonnes of LP gas has docked in Sri Lanka, as reported by LAUGFS Gas PLC. The company announced that the LPG shipment, transported by the vessel ANDOVER, has arrived at the LAUGFS Terminal in Hambantota. This delivery will greatly improve the availability of gas throughout the country and help prevent shortages during the upcoming festive season, according to a company statement. The gas was sourced from SHV Energy, a well-known and dependable energy supplier based in the Netherlands. With this shipment, LAUGFS Gas has confirmed that there are enough supplies to meet the domestic demand during the festive period. The company is also taking steps to speed up filling and distribution processes to ensure that LPG is delivered efficiently across all areas. These actions are designed to maintain a steady supply, reduce market disruptions, and reassure consumers during this important time, LAUGFS Gas PLC added.
