Today, opposition party leaders in Sri Lanka are set to hold a special meeting to discuss the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This gathering will occur at the Parliamentary Complex this morning and will be led by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, according to Mano Ganesan, the leader of the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) and an opposition MP. Additionally, the parliamentary sessions for the first week of March will begin today at 9:30 a.m. The Secretary General’s Office of Parliament also announced that an adjournment debate to recognize International Women’s Day is planned for March 5, 2026.
