Ambassador assures safety of Sri Lankans in Kuwait amid regional tensions

The Sri Lankan Ambassador in Kuwait, Lakshitha Ratnayake, has confirmed that Sri Lankans living in Kuwait are safe and being monitored closely amid recent regional tensions. Following attacks by Iran on U.S. military bases in Kuwait, the Ambassador stated that no Sri Lankan has been harmed. He reassured the public that there is no reason for unnecessary worry about the safety of Sri Lankans in Kuwait. Additionally, Ambassador Ratnayake noted that the Sri Lankan Embassy is actively keeping track of the situation and working with Kuwaiti security officials to stay updated and gather important information.
