‘Koombiyo’ has won two awards at the Raigama Tele’es awards ceremony.It won the award for the most popular tele drama, while Thumindu Dodantenne, who plays its main role, was adjudged the most popular actor.
Accepting his award, Thumindu said the award was a portrayal of the viewership's opposition to the prevailing social system.
‘Koombiyo’ is directed by Lakmal Dharmaratne and produced by Asanka Dodantenna.
