After 1:00 p.m., showers or thundershowers will likely occur across most of the island. In some areas of the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, Southern, and North-central provinces, heavy rainfall exceeding 75 mm is anticipated. The public is advised to take necessary precautions to reduce the risk of damage from temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers. Additionally, heavy rainfall surpassing 100 mm may occur in certain locations within the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, and North-central provinces.
