India to host Zimbabwe for maiden women’s bilateral series
The women’s cricket teams from India and Zimbabwe are preparing to meet for the first time in an international series. Zimbabwe will visit India this October to play white-ball matches. This series includes three T20 matches and three ODIs, marking Zimbabwe's first trip to India. India has not yet traveled to Zimbabwe for any bilateral matches. The T20 matches will take place in Raipur on October 16, 18, and 20, while the ODIs are scheduled for October 23, 25, and 28 in Baroda. The BCCI announced these fixtures on Wednesday. Additionally, the India A women’s team will host two home series against Australia A in September and England A in December. Each of these series will consist of three T20s, three List A games, and one multi-day match. Furthermore, the India Under-19 women’s team is set to welcome Sri Lanka U-19 in June and July for three T20s and three 50-over games, as well as England U-19 in November and December for five T20 matches. The Australia A men's team will tour India for two multi-day matches and three one-day games in September and October. Meanwhile, the Australia U-19 team will also visit India during the same months for two multi-day matches and three one-day games.
