A 26-year-old man from China has been detained for the murder of a foreign woman in Kohuwala. The victim was killed with a sharp object at a home in the area. Police arrested the suspect at a hotel on Sir Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha in Kollupitiya. During the arrest, authorities found three cameras and 2 grams and 280 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine, known as ‘Ice,’ in his possession. The suspect is set to appear in Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court today, October 6, as Kohuwala Police continue their investigation.
