The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has declared a 12-hour water cut for Homagama and nearby areas (Zone 01) today, October 6. In an official announcement, the Board mentioned that the current water supply interruption affecting Padukka and its surrounding regions will end at 8:00 a.m. today. Following this, Homagama and its nearby areas will experience a water cut from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The NWSDB explained that this decision is due to the ongoing dry weather conditions, which have caused a reduction in water supply.
