Five people were seriously hurt when a van, carrying family members, lost control and fell about 70 feet down a cliff near Gerandi Ella in Kotmale early today (02), according to police reports. The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on the Nuwara Eliya–Gampola main road, which is known for landslides and is near the location of a past bus accident.
