A vehicle operated by Muhammad Faizal, the Member of Parliament for Puttalam District from the National People’s Power (NPP), was involved in a crash at the Bandarawatta bend in Chilaw. The vehicle veered off the road and hit a wall, resulting in considerable damage to both the car and the wall. The accident took place around 11:45 p.m. yesterday (29), with reports indicating that the MP was the sole person in the vehicle at that time. The Chilaw Police are currently looking into the details of the incident.
