Fire breaks out at transformer in front of Kalutara District Secretariat

A fire occurred today at a transformer situated in front of the Kalutara District Secretariat, according to a report from Ada Derana. The fire lasted approximately 20 minutes and caused some damage to the transformer. The Kalutara Municipal Council Fire Brigade and staff from the Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) worked together to control the blaze. Witnesses reported that the incident caused alarm among nearby residents in Sri Lanka.
