Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he does not believe the war against Iran will last for years. As the conflict escalates, Israel has been attacking Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, while Iran has targeted Gulf states hosting U.S. military bases. Initially, U.S. President Donald Trump anticipated that the war would continue for four to five weeks but has since suggested a broader, open-ended military campaign against Iran. Netanyahu dismissed the notion of a long-lasting conflict, contrasting it with past wars in the region. He remarked on Fox News’ "Hannity" program on Monday, "I indicated that it could be swift and effective. It might take some time, but it will not extend for years. This is not an endless war." As the war reached its fourth day on Tuesday, explosions were felt throughout Tel Aviv as air defenses intercepted Iranian missiles. Israel launched attacks on the building housing Iran's state broadcaster IRIB in Tehran and targeted Hezbollah fighters in various Lebanese towns. Early Tuesday, two drones, believed to be from Iran, struck the U.S. embassy in Riyadh, causing minor damage and igniting a fire. Additionally, at least eight other drones were intercepted before reaching the city, according to Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday that its naval forces had destroyed the main command center and headquarters of a U.S. airbase in Bahrain during what it called the 14th phase of "Operation Promise of the Truth 4." The IRGC stated that it conducted a large-scale drone and missile attack on the Sheikh Isa area base early in the morning, with 20 drones and three missiles hitting their targets.
