Man beaten to death in Horana; Two women arrested

A 32-year-old man has reportedly been beaten to death at a home in Poruwadanda, Horana, according to police. The Horana Police Station began an investigation after receiving reports about the incident. The victim, who lived in Poruwadanda, had gone to a nearby house where he broke doors and windows, creating a disturbance. A woman in the house then told the victim’s wife what was happening. Initial investigations indicate that the wife arrived at the scene later and, along with the other woman, allegedly attacked the man with a wooden pole. Both women have been arrested. The Horana Police are continuing their investigations.
