A tragic motorcycle-bus accident in Yapagama, Dambulla has claimed the lives of a newlywed couple who had been married for just three months, according to police reports. The 22-year-old couple was riding their motorcycle to visit their parents when they collided with a bus on the KandyColombo main road in Wathupitiwala. Both individuals died at the scene. They had been living in a rented home near their jobs in Gampaha, where they worked in the catering industry.
