The government has announced the minimum prices for paddy that the Paddy Marketing Board (PMB) will pay to farmers. During a press conference at the Department of Government Information, Manjula Pinnalanda, the Chairman of the PMB, shared that these prices will be in effect for the Maha season of 2025/2026. The PMB will buy paddy at specific rates. Additionally, the Chairman mentioned that Rs. 10 billion has been set aside for purchasing paddy this season.
