Nuwara Eliya experienced the coldest temperature in Sri Lanka today, reaching 5.0 degrees Celsius, as reported by the Department of Meteorology. In addition, Bandarawela saw a minimum temperature of 12.5°C early this morning. The Badulla area recorded a low of 14.8°C. Moreover, Maha Illuppallama reported a minimum temperature of 19.3°C. The Department of Meteorology has provided a distribution map showing the minimum temperatures collected from various regional data centers.
