A special operation across Sri Lanka aimed at reducing crime and drugs led to the inspection of 28,333 people. During this effort, police arrested 22 suspects linked to different criminal activities. The Police Media Division reported that 263 other suspects were also apprehended for various incidents, and 141 people with outstanding warrants were taken into custody. Additionally, 424 individuals were arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
