Development Officers Set to Stage Nationwide Protests Over Pay Disputes and Broken Government Promises

Development officers serving in Sri Lanka's State and Provincial Public Services are preparing to launch a series of countrywide protests on Monday, January 31, as frustration mounts over unresolved salary grievances and what they describe as unfulfilled pledges made by the government.
