SC orders fresh notice on Gotabaya in compensation case

In separate news, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) General Secretary, Sagara Kariyawasam, expressed deep concerns about the death of former SriLankan Airlines CEO, Kapila Chandrasena. He raised questions regarding whether the circumstances surrounding the death were a suicide, murder, or if Chandrasena was forced to take his own life. During a media briefing, Kariyawasam noted that Chandrasena had recently attracted controversy after he reportedly submitted a court affidavit that included claims of threats against him.
