Two men were arrested in Maradana on D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha for illegally storing 826 liters of diesel without a proper license. The arrest happened after officers from the Colombo Divisional Crime Division acted on a tip-off. Police also seized Rs. 72,210, which is believed to be money made from selling fuel illegally. The suspects, who are 23 and 61 years old, live in Wellawatte and Wariyapola, according to police. The Colombo Divisional Crime Division is continuing the investigation.
