Nine people were taken into custody yesterday, April 2, by the Sri Lanka Police for their involvement in a deadly stabbing in the Mattakkuliya area. This incident happened on the night of March 31, and the arrests followed a thorough investigation. The police reported that the suspects, who are between the ages of 19 and 40, all live in Mattakkuliya. They are set to appear before the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court today, April 3, for further legal action.
