A man has lost his life in a traffic accident in the Molagoda area of Kegalle, according to police reports. The incident took place when a private bus, traveling from Colombo to Kandy on the Kegalle–Colombo main road, hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the street. The injured man was taken to Kegalle Hospital but unfortunately passed away from his injuries. He has been identified as a 54-year-old resident of Molagoda. The police have arrested the bus driver involved in the accident, and further investigations are ongoing by Kegalle Police.
