Notorious gang member Midigama Chuti brought back to Sri Lanka

Prabhath Madusanka, known as ‘Midigama Chuti,’ was returned to Sri Lanka this morning (30) after being arrested in Oman. A team of special police officers accompanied him to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake. ‘Midigama Chuti’ is linked to several criminal activities and was detained by Omani authorities last year, following a red warrant issued for him. To bring him back, three officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) traveled to Oman. He arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport at 4:27 a.m. today (30) on SalamAir flight OV-437, according to an Ada Derana report. After his statements were recorded, he was taken to the CID headquarters in Colombo.
