Multi-day fishing trawler with suspected narcotics brought to Dikkowita Harbour

The Sri Lanka Navy has brought a multi-day fishing trawler, which was seized for carrying suspected narcotics, to Dikkowita Fisheries Harbour. This trawler was captured while sailing in the waters south of Dondra. The Navy's Offshore Patrol Squadron conducted the operation that led to the seizure on the 15th of this month. Along with the trawler, five fishermen who were on board were also taken into custody. They are expected to arrive at Dikkowita Harbour with the vessel.
