A youth was arrested in Dodangoda during a vehicle inspection as part of a nationwide anti-drug campaign. The Dodangoda Police caught the suspect, who was involved in trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine, commonly known as 'Ice.' At the time of the arrest, police discovered nearly 225 grams of 'Ice' in a three-wheeler that was behaving suspiciously. The drugs have an estimated street value of Rs. 4 million. The suspect, a 26-year-old man from Dodangoda, is believed to be linked to a significant drug trafficking ring in the Kalutara area. He is set to appear before the Kalutara Magistrate’s Court to determine custody.
