Nearly 400 people killed in Lebanon since Israel began attacks, health minister says
The Lebanese health ministry reports that at least 394 people have died in Lebanon since Israel started its attacks earlier this week. Health minister Rakan Nasreddine stated that among the deceased are 83 children and 42 women. Additionally, he noted that over 1,130 individuals have been injured during this period, including 254 children and 274 women. Israel claims that its military actions are aimed at eliminating the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah. As of yesterday, more than 450,000 people in Lebanon have been documented as displaced, according to Haneen Sayed, the country’s social affairs minister, during a news conference.
