CBSL to release economic impact assessment tomorrow amid global tensions - President

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake told Parliament today that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has been looking into the current situation and will release a report tomorrow (April 4) that assesses its possible effects on the country's economy. He made this statement during a special address in Parliament this morning (April 3). “The Central Bank of Sri Lanka is assessing the current situation to understand how it might affect our economy. I expect to have that report either by this evening or tomorrow morning,” the President stated. “It will give a detailed look at the impact on our financial sector,” he added.
