Oil tanker attacked near coast of Oman

An oil tanker was attacked roughly five nautical miles from the coast of Masandam in Oman, according to the country's maritime security center on Sunday. Four individuals sustained injuries, and the entire crew of 20 was evacuated. The tanker, named “Skylight,” was registered under the flag of Palau, a small island nation located in the western Pacific. The Omani navy and military conducted the rescues, demonstrating the nation's preparedness to handle maritime emergencies.
