The Government of Sri Lanka expressed serious worries today about the quick rise in fighting in the Middle East. This situation threatens both regional stability and international peace. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism urged all involved parties to show the highest level of restraint and to take quick and strong steps to reduce tensions.
