Fuel prices increased
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has stated that fuel prices will change starting at midnight today, the 28th. Auto Diesel will now cost Rs. 281 per litre, which is an increase of Rs. 4. Super Diesel will rise by Rs. 6, bringing its price to Rs. 329 per litre. Additionally, Petrol 92 Octane will see a Rs. 1 increase, making it Rs. 293 per litre. The prices for Kerosene and Petrol 95 Octane will remain the same, according to the CPC. The updated prices are: Auto Diesel – Rs. 281 (up by Rs. 4), Super Diesel – Rs. 329 (up by Rs. 6), Petrol 92 Octane – Rs. 293 (up by Rs. 1), Kerosene – Rs. 182 (unchanged).
