Water supply in several areas of Colombo has been interrupted today (18) due to a sudden failure in the main pipeline that runs from Ambatale to Dehiwala, according to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB). The affected locations include Moratuwa, Rawathawatta, Soysapura, Ratmalana, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Wellawatte, Pamankada, Mulleriyawa, and Kolonnawa. Additionally, residents in Battaramulla will experience low water pressure because of this issue, the Water Board reported.
