The 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination begins today, February 17. The Department of Examinations has announced that 451,463 students will take the exam at 3,545 centers across Sri Lanka. The exam period runs from today until February 26, 2026. A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage, the Commissioner General of Examinations, emphasized that students should arrive at their exam centers at least one hour before the exam starts.
