Some members of drug trafficking networks willing to surrender – Dy Minister Watagala
Some people connected to drug trafficking networks are ready to turn themselves in, according to Sunil Watagala, the Deputy Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs. He noted that as the government’s campaign to fight drugs continues to be successful, those involved are starting to come forward to surrender. The Deputy Minister shared this information during the formation of the Ratnapura District Operations Committee. This event took place alongside the “Nation United” program, which aims to eliminate illegal drugs across Sri Lanka.
