Doctors in all government hospitals in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka are going back on strike. The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) said the strike will start again at 8:00 a.m. today, January 19. This decision comes because the government has not answered their requests. The strike had been paused for the Thai Pongal festival.
