Govt managing the economy in a way that delivers tangible benefits to all Sri Lankans- PM Harini

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya emphasized that the current government aims to manage the economy to benefit all Sri Lankans, rather than just a select few. She highlighted that successful implementation of the government’s new program needs strong backing from relevant ministries and provincial authorities. Additionally, she mentioned that efforts are being made to fill teacher vacancies and other state job openings by 2026. The Prime Minister spoke during a ceremony to award scholarships to children in the Northern Province, held at the Nelum Piyasa Hall in the Iranamadu Army Camp in Kilinochchi. During this event, students who excelled in the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination were honored and received scholarships from the Presidential Fund.
