The project to modernize the Narahenpita Railway Station was officially launched today (27) under the “Dream Destination” program, implemented as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative. Narahenpita Railway Station, located on the Kelani Valley Line between the Kota Road and Kirulapone stations, is considered one of the key transit points on the route. As part of the modernization project, several development activities are planned, including the construction of a passenger flyover connecting the railway platforms and the upgrading of sanitary facilities to improve convenience for commuters. The project will be carried out with the full support of the private sector, ensuring better infrastructure and services for passengers in the future.
