LNP - Passengers complain of long queues at BIA

Passengers at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) raised complaints last night over severe congestion, with long queues reported at both check-in counters and immigration. Several travellers claimed they had nearly missed their flights due to the delays, while others described the departure areas as overcrowded. According to passengers, the airport appeared to be operating over capacity, with multiple flights scheduled around the same time, resulting in heavy congestion.  Tourists were also among those affected, with many voicing frustration over the chaotic situation.
