Vessel suspected of carrying narcotics intercepted by Navy brought to Dikkowita Harbour

The Sri Lanka Navy has brought a vessel, believed to be carrying narcotics, to Dikkowita Harbour. This action follows a special naval operation in the deep waters southwest of Sri Lanka. During this operation, a local multi-day fishing boat was intercepted on suspicion of transporting illegal drugs. The Navy has confirmed that six people on board were arrested.
