Two decommissioned train compartments catch fire near Galle Railway Station

A fire started in two old train carriages parked close to the Galle Railway Station. These carriages were part of four that had been taken out of service and left at that location. Officials confirmed that the fire only affected two of the carriages. The Galle Municipal Council sent at least two fire engines to put out the flames. There have been no reports of injuries or deaths.
