Police have arrested another gunman linked to a shooting in Jinthupitiya that resulted in one man's death and injuries to two children. The suspect was captured in the Udawalawa area after officers from the Colombo Central Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau received a tip. Authorities identified the arrested man as a 25-year-old from Kolambage Ara in Udawalawa. Additionally, another suspect involved as a gunman in the same incident was taken into custody on March 03, 2026. The Colombo Central Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau continues to investigate the case.
