Prohibition orders issued for 15 defective vehicles in Horana

Fifteen faulty vehicles have been banned from use following a special inspection by the Horana Police. This operation, which took place within the Horana Police division, involved checking 107 vehicles in total. Alongside the prohibition orders, police also took legal action against 35 people for various traffic offenses. The legal measures were aimed at vehicles found to have problems like broken lights and signals, defective brakes, missing side mirrors, or riders not wearing safety helmets. The goal of this traffic inspection was to reduce road accidents in the Horana Police division, as faulty vehicles are a major cause of these incidents, according to the police.
