Coast Guard personnel clean up oil spillage in seas off Hikkaduwa

Sri Lanka's Coast Guard has quickly taken action to clean up oil spills along the beaches of Hikkaduwa. They are working alongside the Sri Lanka Navy, the Marine Environment Protection Authority, and the Coastal Conservation Department. Their efforts are focused on the oil-affected areas in Narigama, Thotagamuwa, and Hikkaduwa to protect the marine ecosystem, according to a statement from the Sri Lanka Coast Guard.
