As Israel bombs Tehran, series of blasts over Jerusalem

Loud explosions were reported over Jerusalem on Sunday evening, following the sound of sirens, according to AFP reporters. This came after the Israeli military announced that it had spotted missiles fired from Iran. The Israeli army stated, "A short while ago, the (Israeli military) identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel." They also noted, "Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat."
