Arumahandi Janith Madhusankha de Silva, known as "Podi Lassie," is a notorious drug dealer linked to several murders. He arrived in Sri Lanka early this morning (27) and was taken from Bandaranaike International Airport by police. The suspect had been arrested in India before being returned to Sri Lanka. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) F. U. Wootler, he will be transferred to the Galle District Crimes Division for further inquiries. A special police team brought "Podi Lassie" back to Sri Lanka from India this morning (27).
