Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando, the Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, participated in the 78th National Independence Day celebration held by the Sri Lankan Consulate in Dubai today (04). Speaking to a notable audience that included leaders from Sri Lankan associations, professionals, and members of the Sri Lankan community in Dubai, the Minister thanked the community for their generous support in helping rebuild the country. He also emphasized the Government's dedication to fostering peace and unity among all ethnic groups, as well as enhancing Sri Lanka’s economy for a brighter future for the next generations.
